How To Lighten Your Eyebrows Safely

Before After
Dark brows can be
so heavy they overpower
all your other features.

Quote from FDA website
"Don’t dye eyelashes and eyebrows
No color additives are approved by the FDA for permanent dyeing or tinting of eyelashes and eyebrows. Permanent eyelash and eyebrow tints and dyes have been known to cause serious eye injuries."

Turn down their strength
a notch or two and
 bring them into balance.

Overview

Brows are tricky to lighten because:

  • Color
You already know that dark brows can be overpowering. Well, brow color that is too light can throw your look off balance too - just like a funny lipstick.

Stay in control of your color by lightening slowly. Our natural herb lightener loaded with chamomile, lemon and marigold will lighten your brows gradually over a few weeks. Each morning you decide if you are getting in the range of color you want. Any sun you get will hasten the lightening process and help bring out natural highlights.

Cosmetics (such as powder or pencil) will not lighten dark brows.
Shaping your brows can make them appear lighter. We think shaping is a great option but often women feel this is not enough.

  • Safety

Organic chamomile is our main lightening ingredient but we have also added  fresh organic lemon juice and marigold to give the  lightening action an extra boost. This is an effective lightening product made from fresh organic fruit and herbs. It brings out highlights and adds life to dull brow hair.

Steps

Tools: Our natural herb lightener is loaded with chamomile, lemon and marigold in a pot with two brushes.    $6.95

approximately 15 applications

Scoop out a small amount of the lightener and place it in the palm of your hand. Here we just covered the tip of the sponge brush.
The amount you may need, of course,  depends on the amount of brow hair you have.

  Use your ring finger
  • dip it in water and
  • flick a few little drops onto the organic lightener.

  Use the applicator brush and
  •  work the water and organic blend into a paste.
  • add another small drop of water from your ring finger.

Mix until you have a lather.

Apply to your brows with the small brush and leave for at least 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, wash away the blend with a face cloth. As you wash away you may get a bit more lather building into your brows. Wash until all the lightener is gone.
A bit of sun will speed up the lightening.

Repeat the steps listed above each morning for at least 2 to 3 weeks.

Ingredients: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Stearic Acid, Chamomile Infusion (Anthemis nobilis), Marigold Infusion (Calendula officinalis), Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Cocamide DEA, Perfume, Soya Lecithin, Lemon Juice (Citrus limonum), Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Tangerine Oil (Citrus reticulata), Mandarin Oil (Citrus nobilis), Orange Oil (Citrus dulcis), Orange Blossom Absolute (Citrus dulcis), Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), Chamomile Flowers (Anthemis nobilis), Lemon (Citrus limonum)
